Hello from the Learning Lab! 

Thank you to all who participated in our Summer Reading Program, it was great to see so many students reading over the summer!  So far in the library we have talked about expectations, gotten to know each other a little better, and we’ve even started checking out books!  I’ve reminded the kids to take very good care of their library books, and to find a special spot where they can stay so they don’t get lost. Coming up, we will be doing a little writing about our summer adventures, and more reading!  We are excited for our first Scholastic Book Fair coming up the week of Parent/Teacher conferences…Sept. 30- Oct. 4! Look for more info going home soon about that. Thank you for teaching them to take care of and be responsible for their books!
