The continued safety, well-being, and success of our students, teachers, staff, and community has always been our top priority as we navigate the complex and evolving coronavirus crisis. To that end, our comprehensive task force has outlined a school reopening plan that includes a return to full-time in-person instruction for students in grades PK-5, 6, and 9, and an alternating schedule with a combination of in-person and synchronous real-time online learning for students in grades 7-8 and 10-12.

Fox Trot Fundraiser
Our annual Fox Trot race is here!
The Fox Trot fundraiser is how we pay for most of our programs and events all year. It’s the only time we ask for donations to support Fall River. Those donations help us provide field trip transportation, classroom supplies, childcare during parent/teacher conferences, and so much more. This year we’re even committed to funding more staff in Fall River’s classrooms!
The Fox Trot run will be held at Stephen Day Park on October 2nd. Prizes will go home October 9th. We need lots of volunteers on both those days! The work is all easy — fill water cups or count laps as students run by — but we need a lot of people to do it.
Find out where and when we need help and sign up by visiting FallRiverPTO.org/volunteer or email us: fox-trot@FallRiverPTO.org
Parent/Teacher Conference Meals
Parent/Teacher conferences are coming up and those are long days for teachers. We make sure they at least get to eat a good dinner! Fall River families serve a buffet meal with a different theme on each night of conferences.
Cook something at home, pick up something simple at the store, or even order a prepared dish from your favorite restaurant — everything helps!
Visit FallRiverPTO.org/volunteer to find out what foods we need and sign up to bring some.
Our PTO meets on the second Monday of every month. This month, that’s October 12th at 3:45 p.m. in Fall River’s library. This is a big one: Fox Trot will be over, so we’ll be announcing how the fundraiser went and voting on our budget for the year.
We always provide free childcare during PTO meetings, and every Fall River family is already a voting member of our PTO so we hope we’ll see you there!
