Hello from the Learning Lab!

We’ve been busy in here!  We jumped into coding before Winter break, and continued with the older grades learning BitsBox. They are really getting the hang of it!  Grades 3-5 also got an intro to the SVVSD Digital Library…super cool!   The younger grades got to learn the basics of coding, Scratch Jr, and got to know the computer keyboard a bit better.

I’ll be sending home notes with students who have overdue books soon…keep an eye out for library books at home.

We are excited for our visiting author Dr. Jeffrey Bennett!! He will be coming to Fall River on February 21.  We will send flyers home soon with information on how to purchase a signed copy of his books. 

We will also be starting our school wide reading event soon!! Stay tuned for details!!
