The Happy Camper BOGO (Buy One GIVE One) Book Fair is scheduled for May 8th-12th of Carnival Week. Yes, it’s still Buy One Get One Free but I’d like for Fall River families to consider this an opportunity to give.  Our teachers will have “WISH BINS” (magazine holders) with their names on them. Inside the WISH BIN teachers will place books they would like for someone to gift to their classroom libraries.  Your generosity is appreciated!

Unlike our Fall Scholastic Book Fair, the Fall River library does not receive profits from the spring BOGO Book Fair.  This is an opportunity for us to give back to you, our amazing community of parents and students. Thank you for all that you do.

Check out Our Kindness Project in the library.  Inspired by the book ‘The Kindness Quilt’ by Nancy Elizabeth Wallace, students created a picture that demonstrated an act of kindness they had performed.  We created a quilt pattern with their pictures.  See if you can find your student’s work.  Kindness is contagious and we are so proud to see our Fall River foxes sharing and caring for others.

Last chance for students to check out library books will be the week of May 1st-5th.  Books are due back to the library May 12th.  Notices for late or lost books will go out to students in their friday folders on May 12th.  Thank you for your help in wrestling up these last missing treasures.

More to come in May regarding summer reading programs!!
