Library April News

Non-fiction relabeling, we are on our way!

Thank you to all of the helpers who have come to resticker our non-fictions books, all 4,901 of them!  We are making major progress.  The Learning Lab is a bit messy at the moment with relabeled books on top of shelves and to-be-labeled books in the shelves. But the end result of all this “stickering and stacking” will make finding the perfect book so much easier for our students.

Claudia Mills is coming to visit on April 3rd.

The Parent Committee for the Arts is kindly sponsoring Claudia Mills to visit our Learning Lab.  Claudia is a local author and has written a variety of children’s books series such as “Gus and Grandpa”, “Mason Dixon” and “Franklin School Friends”.  She will work with each grade level discussing with students how she became an author and how they can become one too! To learn more about our guest author please go to her website at https://www.claudiamillsauthor.com/
