December Health Office News

Health Office Reminders:

  • Cold and Flu season is here.  Per District policy, students experiencing vomiting, diarrhea and/or fever over 100.0 can not come to school.  Students need to be symptom free without medication for 24 hours before they may come back to school.  Also please keep children home if they are too sick to take part in normal activities or if they require more care than staff can provide.

  • New this year Lost and Found will be bagged up and donated at the end of every month.  Remind your students to keep track of their belongings and to check Lost and Found if they are missing anything.  All Items will be bagged and donated on Thursday, December 19, 2019.

  • Health Office needs a Permission to Medicate form signed by a Physician before any medication can be given at school.  This includes cough drops, Tylenol, Ibuprofen, and any other over the counter medication. Students are not allowed to self medicate.

  • Colorado State Law requires Students to be fully Immunized to attend public school.  Letters will be sent home to students that do not meet Colorado State requirements. Please contact Stacie Miyake, Health Clerk 720-652-7920 with any questions or concerns.

  • Non-Medical Exemption forms need to be filled out and signed by parents every year.  If you need an exemption form please contact health clerk.
