Hello from the Learning Lab! We have been working a little more with coding and keyboarding lately…the students are getting pretty good at both! In the coming weeks, we will be focusing more on reading for fun. I’m giving the students more time to check out their books, find books they are interested in, and some extra quiet reading time. I love seeing their excitement when a book comes in they’ve been wanting, or when they’ve found a new series they like! I’ll be sending home overdue book notices soon. Please help your students find and turn in those overdue books! If they have any questions they can always ask me, and you are welcome to email me as well. [email protected] We are excited to have a visiting author coming soon! Mark Ludy, author and illustrator, will be coming to speak with the kids on February 24. We will be sending home order forms in a couple weeks if you’d like to purchase any of his books. He said he will autograph each book that’s bought. He is extremely talented, we are looking forward to his visit! Mark your calendars…we have our Spring Book Fair coming April 20-24! It is a Buy One Get One book fair this time. More details will come!
