Dear Fall River Families,

Cafeteria May News

Hello from your Fall River Cafeteria:
It has been a great year, we are all getting excited for the summer but are truly grateful for this year and all of the fun that we have had! Please make sure that you take care of your student's lunch account balance before the 19th of May. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at any time, and I will be more than glad to help.

Student Council May News

We are quickly approaching our last Student Council meeting for the year. It is hard to believe that it is already here. We have had such an amazing time with our members this year. We did a lot of new things this year including a fieldtrip to the Civic Center to learn how city council runs every week. We all learned so much.

Good luck to our 5th grade members as they move onto bigger adventures. As for our 4th graders, don’t forget to apply for next year. WE WANT YOU BACK!

Have a wonderful summer Fall River Foxes!

STEM May News

Hello Fall River Families,

Preschool May News

In Preschool we spent two weeks learning about exercise and nutrition. We enjoyed a field trip to the cafeteria where Ms. Tarah taught us about the different food groups. One of the classes had the pleasure of teaching Ms. Sampish’s class about muscles and how we can exercise them. Students enjoyed making and eating stone soup (aka vegetable soup). We recently started learning about dinosaurs. The Denver Museum of Nature and Science came and taught us about fossils and how paleontologists have used them to learn of the past.

GT May News

Here’s to another great year of GT! Thanks for sharing your amazing students with me.

It is now time to think about Fall testing. Would you like for your child to be tested for GT? The testing at our school is done in the Fall of each year. Please email me your child’s name and current homeroom teacher. Also, let me know what areas (math and/or language arts) you would like for your child to be tested in. I will let you know more in the Fall. THANK YOU!

Soon-to-be-Summer Greetings from the Library!

Congratulations!

Congratulations to our Preschool Para, Michele Hysel, for receiving the Superintedent's Excellence in Education Award.  Michele was presented with this honorable award by the Superintendent, Don Hadad, in the company of some of her favorite little people.  We, at Fall River, know that Michele is very deserving of the recognition and we are so thankful to have her at our school!
