Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences are just around the corner. PTO is once again organizing conference meals to help keep our teachers and staff going on these long days. There are many different ways to help, from set-up and clean-up to providing ready-made or homemade food items. Sign-ups for each night can be found on our website (http://fallriverpto.org/volunteer/). Feedback from teachers has always been positive for this expression of gratitude and support.
The PTO had a very successful first meeting of the year. We would like to thank everyone that made time to attend the meeting. We presented the new Guide to Classroom Volunteering that was created by the PTO. Our next meeting will be on Monday, October 9, at 6pm at the school. Now that the Fox Trot is concluded, one of our objectives for the evening will be finalizing our budget for the rest of the school year. We will also review a proposed change to the PTO’s financial policy. In addition, the Boulder County Trip Tracker coordinator Cammie Edson will be discussing this beneficial program and its impact.
Our first community restaurant night for this school year is scheduled for Wednesday, October 25th, at Texas Roadhouse. Watch for more information in Friday folders.
