What is Fox Trot?
Fox trot is a race for all Fall River students held during school on Friday, September 29th. Students will run or walk around Stephen Day Park as a class, and we'll count how many laps each student finishes. Fox Trot is also our school's ONLY fundraiser for the year. Family and friends can sponsor students in the race by making a donation to Fall River PTO (our school's parent/teacher organization). Details about the fundraiser will come home after the kickoff event in early September.
When and Where?
Students will be at Stephen Day Park (next to the school) for about 45 minutes including 20 minutes to run/walk in the race. Students may also be at the park at other times supporting other classes.
Please send your child to school in running shoes and with a filled water bottle with your child's name on it. Remember to apple sunscreen and send a jacket based on the weather that day.
Family and friends are welcome to watch the race or even run in it with your student. Just go straight to Stephen Day Park. You DO NOT need to check in at the school.
We also need parent volunteers to help us count laps and fill water cups all day. Visit FallRiverPTO.org/volunteer to sign up.
