Student Council April News

Welcome Back! We hope everyone had a wonderful spring break and is returning fresh and ready for the final two months of school. Wow, that is hard to believe!

Student Council is looking forward to our 2nd annual trip to the City of Longmont to learn all about how our city council runs and the importance of their positions. We will be taking this trip at the end of April or 1st week in May. The date has yet to be determined. We will keep you posted.

Preschool April News

Preschoolers have spent the last several weeks studying buildings. They learned about what materials are used, what buildings are used for, who builds them, and what makes them strong. The students had their first experience in the Fox Forge where they planned and built a building for one of the three little pigs. One of the highlights of this study was when Scott Smiley, the Superintendent of the construction that is happening at Fall River, came to talk to us.

But the end result of all this “stickering and stacking” will make finding the perfect book so much easier for our students.

Claudia Mills is coming to visit on April 3rd.
